Do you need it or not?
Most socialites using twitter would quickly tell you that repeated messages from the same user is quite annoying. The average business person is thinking, How do i get one and which one is the best for my company. To fully understand the answer you would have to define your objectives. Twitter has a nifty search feature which allows you to not only search for basic market segments but further allows for an advance target demographic down to a particular city, country, person. If you're business needs to find out if a product could be sold in london england,
Twitter allows you to search for a specific keyword, term in that city at a specific date or time to see if anyone is talking about your market segment giving the CEO more insight to whats really happening in real time. Softwares such as Tweep software, a Twitter Marketing Software allows just such a feature with a twist. You can message all day and night reaking avoc directed at the entire twitter community. To better get a grasp on what software you should choose you should answer this, do you want to consider your self a spammer? If the answer is no then read no further because any use of all the Twitter Marketing Software out today are against the Twitter rules and regulations.
But what if you were able to specificly targeted your messages to a defined demografic creating an instant synergy between your product and your target? Is this still spam?. Yes and no, Twitter by itself is going against its own rules by telling its users in its help section to message as many people as you can to gain new followers, hence, you just broke thier rule while following their advice. Softwares such as Tweep.net allow you to at least target your market, allow for thousands of messages per day without using whats called the Twitter A.P.I.
So having said its spam why would the average business person not take advantage of the fastest growing Social media site in the world. If we were to tell you that simply using a software such as this could increace your hits to your site by 3000% would that gain your attention?. This is just some of the amazing testimonials and cliams that are currently being made. There are clients claiming that they tripled their sales in 1 day after buying a Twitter Marketing Software.
So, spam or a good business decision?
Both.
